The Department of Chemistry at Yale University (New Haven, CT) invites applications for the position of Lecturer. We seek a creative, Ph.D. level educator who will be able to assume a central role in the teaching of general-chemistry laboratories and lecture, as well as more advanced courses in the chemistry major. Chemical educators with experience in the design and implementation of undergraduate laboratory experiments, lecture materials, assessments, the supervision of teaching assistants, in both small and large courses are encouraged to apply. The position will commence August 1, 2023 and initially will be offered for a one (1) year term, which will be renewable based on performance. Full-time Lecturers at Yale University are faculty members in the department and contribute to the teaching, academic advising, and service missions and are eligible for advancement and promotion.
