Position Description:
Teaches safe and effective lifting techniques and proper spotting procedures; selects exercises and instructs athletes in strength, flexibility and speed development; supervises aspects of injury rehabilitation; designs long-term training programs for athletes in all sports; oversees internship/practical experiences in the Department of Kinesiology related to exercise science and theory of strength and conditioning; and collaborates with coaches to develop customized training protocols.
Education Requirements:
Master's degree in exercise science or related field required.
Required Qualifications:
At least three years of strength and conditioning coaching experience and Collegiate NCAA Division I strength and conditioning coaching experience required.
Certifications:
CSCS or CSCCa certification required.
Desirable Qualifications:
One year teaching experience preferred.
