Job Description
The Duplication Technician provides high quality printing and copying services for the campus community. Duties include utilizing job monitoring software to track and complete print and duplication jobs; utilizing software to submit jobs to a large volume copier; and completing all finishing details. Other duties will include completing inventory, binding books, cutting paper on a computerized cutter, folding documents on a table top folder, and loading and unloading paper.
This is a non-exempt staff position.
Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement
Required Education
High school diploma or GED and knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature that may be obtained with six months/one year of advanced study.
Required Experience
A minimum of three years of work experience in the printing/copying field.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment and customer service skills. Additionally, work requires a basic understanding of paper weights and finishes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with job submission software, such as FileMaker or Papercut, is preferred. Experience with large volume copier job configuration software, such as Fiery, is a plus.
General Weekly Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
