Job Summary
Responsible for compliance, reporting, strategic initiatives, website development, communications and marketing. Serves as an advisor for the Executive Director regarding finances, strategic communications and program and event development. Manages all operations and assigned staff at Marietta and Kennesaw campuses. In collaboration with other Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) Directors, develops and administers policies to support the strategic goals and vision of the Center. Position plays a crucial role in forging a new identity for CETL resulting from the integration of three new subunits: Scholarly Teaching, Faculty Success, and Digital Learning Innovations.
Responsibilities
- Develops and administers policies and procedures pertaining to center budget, funding programs, events, and communications, ensuring compliance with KSU and USG policies and state and federal laws
- Manages center budget under guidance of Executive Director and identifies strategic use of funds to support center initiatives
- Develops and negotiates contracts with external partners
- Responsible for facilitating internal and external audits of center operations and budget, including producing CETL activity report and other compliance reports
- Works in close collaboration with CETL leadership, responsible for shaping global identity standards and developing cohesive communications and marketing strategy for the center
Educational Requirements
Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Required Experience
Five (5) years of relevant experience

Previous experience with Operational Management, Budgeting, Compliance and Reporting, Strategic Initiative Development, and Communications and Marketing Development
Experience in event planning of all sizes and budgets
Experience supervising full-time staff
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
KNOWLEDGE
Advanced knowledge of university software and systems
Knowledge of the basics of educational development sufficient to interface with academic CETL staff
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Trello, Omni, Domiknow)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
