Web Developer
Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Enrollment Communications and Marketing, this position provides web development, programming and administrative support to the Enrollment Management division and its customers including staff, prospective students and their families, current students, high school counselors, and educators.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript. Proficiency using jQuery and Bootstrap. Demonstrated experience in creating and testing secure and responsive web-design and web-accessible technologies and associated best-practices. Experience as webmaster to include site optimization, analytics, and content management. Demonstrated experience in software such as Adobe Creative Suite. Experience working within strict branding guidelines. Experience in planning and decision making at a complex level. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with colleagues in Enrollment Management and its member units along with other university departments, student workers, and vendors. Ability to communicate effectively with the public. Must be able to safely move and handle up to 40 lbs.|
Preferred Qualifications
Degree or certificate in computer science, programming or development. Experience in using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Experience using Adobe Lightroom, Premier Pro/Rush, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Demonstrated or working understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), web-marketing campaigning, Google Analytics 4/Adwords, Google Tag Manager including UTM tracking, and Google Data Studio. Working knowledge of PHP, Apache and SQL-based databases. Working knowledge of GIT. Experience in enterprise-level social media best-practices and aggregators such as Falcon. Experience in admissions and/or other customer-focused higher education environments.
