Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field of study; or relevant Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Preferred Qualifications

1 or more years of experience with any of the following:
  • Ellucian Banner (Student/Financial Aid/Advancement modules)
  • JavaScript
  • HTML/CSS
  • Python
  • Oracle - PL/SQL
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position is part of a team that is responsible for the completion of software development projects in the areas of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, University Advancement, and Emergency Services

This is technical and analytical work in developing, designing, and/or analyzing technical solutions for clients through an appropriate blending of technical knowledge and business solutions.

Employees participate in the development of solutions using programming expertise for day-to-day problems to include maintenance, modification or development of complex inter-related applications/solutions.

Duties include client needs assessment as well as frequent communication with Business Analysts to clarify project scope.

Position must be sensitive to (or understand) the diverse perspectives of stakeholders and works with them to resolve differences.

Mon-Fri, 8 00-5 00 pm, or after hours as needed

Suggested Salary Range: up to $71,000

Physical Demands of Position

Work for this office requires a predominance of computer workstation use.
Thus, applicants must be able to spend long periods of time at a workstation.
Other tasks are performed in an office setting, which requires the ability to perform normal office functions such as, telephone communications, filing, etc. It may, however, include light lifting, etc. to store office supplies or to prepare for training programs or special projects that require delivery of training materials or movement of tables, chairs or other light furniture.
This person must be able to navigate campus to meet with clients and lead training programs with or without reasonable accommodations.
