Job Description

The Department of Finance in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech anticipates one opening for a Professor of Practice (open rank) with specialization in Finance beginning either Spring 2023 or Fall 2023.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.

Considerable experience teaching Finance curriculum or experience within the finance industry.

Candidates must be committed to pursuing teaching excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

A Master's degree in Finance, an MBA, and/or a CFA charter are preferred.

Experience interacting with a diverse student population is desirable.
