Position Highlights
The University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music is accepting applications for Choral Music Educator to teach one course for Spring 2023. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to be able to teach MUS 451 Methods and Techniques for Secondary Vocal Music Education, TTH 9-10:50 am. This is a required course in the Music Education Methods Sequence, that includes supervising practicum experiences in the schools, to be established by the instructor.

Duties & Responsibilities
Ability to teach:
- Objectives, techniques and materials for teaching the adolescent as a singer/performer/musician in choirs, ensembles and other staged singing groups in the secondary schools.
- Laboratory experience in addition to lecture.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education-Masters degree in Choral Music
Education or Masters degree in Choral Conducting with a Bachelors degree in
Music Education
- Experience-Three years working in the field of
vocal/choral music with youth
