The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Spelman College invites applicants for a one-semester, part-time lecturer for the spring of 2023. We are seeking a candidate who has the ability and willingness to teach the Practical Reasoning (PHI200) course. The successful candidate should be willing to work closely with students at a Liberal Arts college with a commitment to teaching and engagement of students.Specific Course(s) to be taught:
PHI200 Practical Reasoning, TTR 9:25am-10:40am and/or TTR 1:00pm-2:15pm
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:A minimum of a Master's degree from an accredited institution in philosophy at the time of application is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
ABD or Ph.D. in philosophy; previous experience of teaching courses in philosophy.
