Position DescriptionThe Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Spelman College invites applicants for a one-semester, part-time lecturer for the spring of 2023. We are seeking a candidate who has the ability and willingness to teach the On the Origins of Postmodernism course (PHI392). The successful candidate should be willing to work closely with students at a Liberal Arts college with a commitment to teaching and engagement of students.
Specific Course(s) to be taught and schedule
PHI392 On the Origins of Postmodernism course, MW 3:00pm-4:15pm
A minimum of a Master's degree from an accredited institution in philosophy at the time of application is required.
ABD or Ph.D. in philosophy; previous experience of teaching courses in philosophy.
