Job Summary:
The Payroll Administrator I, under direction, provides semi-complex payroll accounting services. Collaborates with representatives and coordinates pay calculations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and research information and transactions to detect payroll discrepancies. Assists employees with semi-complex questions.
- Process paperwork for new employees and enters information into the payroll system.
- Maintain and update payroll records.
- Process and issues employee paychecks/statements of earnings and deductions.
- Coordinate and submits forms to payroll workstations for supplemental pay.
- Distribute payroll reports.
- Respond to and resolves inquiries regarding paychecks or payroll reporting.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, verify and post monthly and bi-weekly payrolls.
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely management of employee timesheets and provide assistance and training to employees as needed.
- Education - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.

- This position may supervise employees.
- Work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends.
- Position requires on campus, face-to-face interactions.

Salary: $17.55/hourly
