Job Summary:

The Payroll Administrator I, under direction, provides semi-complex payroll accounting services. Collaborates with representatives and coordinates pay calculations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review and research information and transactions to detect payroll discrepancies. Assists employees with semi-complex questions.
  • Process paperwork for new employees and enters information into the payroll system.
  • Maintain and update payroll records.
  • Process and issues employee paychecks/statements of earnings and deductions.
  • Coordinate and submits forms to payroll workstations for supplemental pay.
  • Distribute payroll reports.
  • Respond to and resolves inquiries regarding paychecks or payroll reporting.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, verify and post monthly and bi-weekly payrolls.
  • Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely management of employee timesheets and provide assistance and training to employees as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.

Knowledge of:
  • Word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
Ability to:
  • Multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Salary: $17.55/hourly
