Francis Marion University and the School of Business invite applications for an Instructor/Assistant Professor in Computer Science. This is a non-tenure track appointment.

A Ph.D. in Computer Science is preferred, but candidates who are nearing completion of their doctorate will be considered. Minimum qualifications required include a master’s degree and at least 18 hours of graduate level coursework in computer science. Teaching experience is a plus. The position requires a commitment to active service in the department, enthusiasm for student interaction, and the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate computer science courses. 

Francis Marion University is a state-supported regional university with a strong emphasis on the liberal arts. Located in Florence, SC, a growing city with a vibrant arts culture, FMU is within easy driving distance of the state capital, Columbia, Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Savannah, Atlanta and Charlotte.
