Position HighlightsThe primary role of this position is to communicate with study participants in the Intervention group of a NIH funded biobehavioral, clinical trial with mothers and babies. This position includes collecting data and teaching an infant massage intervention at study sessions in Tucson. Remote work available when communicating with study participants.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for data collection and REDCap data entry
in study sessions with pregnant and postnatal women who have been
randomized into an intervention group of a clinical trial. Be trained in
study protocol and reliably teach an infant massage intervention to
mothers in the hospital after birth and at 3 postnatal study visits (1, 2,
and 3 months after birth). At study visits, collect questionnaire data and
video-recordings of mother-infant interaction. Coordinates with CATS to
schedule a phlebotomist to attend each study session.
- Communicate with participants in the intervention group
with weekly phone calls to teach a multisensory infant massage, and to
schedule their study visits. This can be performed remotely.
- Attend team meetings. Support the Project Coordinator
with other project duties as needed including recruitment, screening,
enrolling, and maintaining in-person contact with study participants.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with mothers
and infants, as the target population are pregnant women and mother-infant
dyads in the first few months after birth.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
- One(1) year of relevant work experience required.
* Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required.
