Position HighlightsThe Santa Cruz County Extension Office is looking to fill two Community Outreach Assistant II positions.
Recruit parents to participate in off-site classes for the Family Resource Centers.
Prepare and teach classes - including recording attendance, AAP5, communicating weekly via text message to parents and providing feedback on lesson plans. Completing required evaluation for all classes. Provide both positive and negative feedback as well as tools to parents regarding their interaction with their children according to KIPS and MEFS principles.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Class set up, delivery, and breakdown.
attendance, AAP5, and changes made to lesson plans. Assist in
administering MEFS assessment to new families. Submit required
documentation including travel or purchases.
- Attending required trainings required for duties and maintaining 12 hours of professional development annually.
- Assist in recruiting families, outreach, and referral services.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required.
- Ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.
