Indiana State is looking for a socially driven influencer that knows how to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and channel users.
The Social Media Manager will provide the vision and strategic oversight of Indiana State University's social media, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, and Twitter. The manger is a critical member of the Web Team utilizing a proactive approach to elevating social media and creating innovative, imaginative, and compelling content that drives awareness, recruitment, and enrollment objectives.
Additionally, this person should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content, making it engaging on those channels. Responsibilities will include monitoring conversations on behalf of the brand, "soft selling" Indiana State University, driving traffic to our website resources using personas, and content planning to meet recruitment, enrollment, and engagement goals for our various programs and community engagements.
