Job Summary
Assists students and faculty build an inclusive environment in the STEM programs run by the College of Science and Mathematics. Gathers data on success of students from across demographic groups in CSM courses. This position will work with faculty to develop data analysis tools that will allow individuals to explore their own impacts on student progression and graduation.

1. Develops and analyzes key metrics of student success in CSM courses and provides key visualization and analysis tools to faculty.

2. Leads faculty in understanding individual impact on student progression and graduation

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, physics, mathematics or related field.

Required Experience
One (1) year of teaching at the college-level.

Preferred Experience
Experience working with others on systemic racism, stereotype threat, and implicit bias

Proposed Salary
The salary rage for this position is between $10/hour (minimum salary) and $12/hour (budgeted amount). Offers will be based on candidate experience and budget availability.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to relate the experience of people from traditionally underserved populations to STEM
Able to interact with and recruit knowledgeable people from other fields to expand on the data tasks
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines

Knowledge of data analysis and visualization techniques
Knowledge of the history of systemic racism that has created challenges for STEM fields

Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
