The Office of Information Technology (OIT) at Western New England University seeks an energetic, experienced, and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Application Administrator. The primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Management and Payroll System. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for these systems and ensures that the interaction between systems runs smoothly. This position is responsible for ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, and report writing. The Administrator meets routinely with Benefits, Payroll, and Human Resources to collaborate on strategy and procedures that ensure organizational effectiveness. The Application Administrator also supports system upgrades, implementations, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical discipline; 5 years of supporting application systems using SQL and other standards based languages; Ability to assess and resolve complex related issues with proven analytical methodologies; Strong client/server applications knowledge and an ability to work directly with client department; and Ellucian Colleague and Cornerstone experience highly desirable.
