Research Measurement Analyst

We are currently seeking a Research Measurement Analyst to join the Office of Research. The Research Measurement Analyst is responsible for contributing to research design, test development and data analysis. The selected candidate will primarily be engaged in research and development in the area of assessing communication skills and other non-cognitive abilities of health care providers.

This role has been designated as primarily remote which means it generally does not require onsite work more than an average of 2-3 times per month and may require additional prescheduled onsite work. We're open to considering candidates in the following states: PA, NJ, DE and MD.

  • Consult with subject matter experts and medical educators to develop content material
  • Analyze existing research processes and develop new processes in support of projects
  • Propose creative and innovative solutions to measurement problems in support of the assessment
  • Code and annotate qualitative data
  • Contribute to the development of coding frameworks and assessment instruments
  • Independently conduct and interpret advanced statistical analyses to identify and refine methods of assessment
  • Contribute to pilot designs and implementation
  • Develop and provide training on scoring guidelines and quality control

Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of qualitative data analysis methods, techniques, and tools
  • Knowledge of and experience with statistical analysis
  • Familiarity with experimental research and design
  • Working knowledge of measurement theory for test development and evaluation
  • Comfortable working independently and balancing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • 1-3 years of experience conducting qualitative research preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience conducting quantitative research preferred
  • A background in the social sciences is preferred

Master's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
