This position will support and assist the ongoing research and quality improvement projects and Finding Wellness Initiative of the Department of Family Medicine.

What you'll do:

* Calling patients overdue for health screenings and answer patient questions regarding the screening.

* Conducting phone interviews with providers on various topics related to their practice.

* Running reports and gathering data from Finding Wellness Initiative cohorts and to compile statistical data before and after cohort participation for quality outcomes.

* Literature review

* Organizing, creating, and coordinating materials for research protocols and events

* Organize the Nath Research Day - soliciting, reviewing and creating conference posters and presentations of accepted submissions.

* Creates charts and graphs of data for presentation to Department QI quality teams of qualitative and quantitative outcomes.

* Assists and mentors Family Medicine Medical/Dental residents on the process of gathering data and assist with creation of a research abstract and/or presentation for the Family Medicine Residency Didactic sessions once a month.

* Developing research protocols for IRB review

* Review and proofread manuscripts for submission

* Other administrative office tasks as necessary

Pay Grade: 17

  • Master's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 0-6 months experience:
    • Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Statistical Software (not required but helpful)
    • Literature review experience
  • Be able to operate a computer
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have the capacity to work on research projects that deal with sensitive topics without personal or moral judgment impacting the progress or quality of the work
  • Possess attention to detail and accuracy
