Position Highlights

Currently, the Department of Immunobiology, is seeking highly motivated applicants for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate I in the Kuhns Lab. This challenging position requires a high level of enthusiasm, dedication, and drive drive for applicants interested in studying the molecular mechanisms in T-Cell activation and cell fate decisions (pubmed search: Kuhns MS).

Research in the Department and the University is supported by state-of-the-art core facilities including animal housing, FACS, DNA, Microarrays, Proteomics and Imaging. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent experiments, evaluate the data, and keep appropriate records of all research activities.
  • Read the literature, participate in scientific discussions with other members of the lab, and attend mandatory lab meetings.
  • Perform assigned lab duties to assist in the maintenance of stock reagents or the general operation of the lab, and various other duties or projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, or related fields.
  • Experience with modern molecular biology, biochemistry, and tissue culture techniques.
  • Basic Immunological concepts.
