The Management and Organizational Leadership Department is seeking a new colleague to join our friendly group of teacher-scholars as an Assistant Professor of Operations Management (tenure-track), starting August 2023. We are committed to excellence in teaching through innovative pedagogy, and to the pursuit of knowledge through impactful scholarship. We are interested in candidates who align with our College vision that business is a force for good, and who would welcome infusing this vision in their teaching and research practices. Additionally, our new colleague would play a central role in helping us further develop our newly-created Organizational Sustainability and Resiliency track of the management and organizational leadership major. The opportunity to contribute to the College's Master of Science in Business Analytics program also exists.

Minimum requirements include holding a Ph.D. or ABD in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Selection will depend on the receipt of three recommendations confirming the candidate's scholarly achievements and teaching abilities and/or on the candidate's satisfactory passing a teaching demonstration if selected for an on-campus interview. Qualifications:

Candidates for the position should possess a Ph.D. in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Candidates who are ABD must obtain their Ph.D. prior to appointment. We are also open to experienced Assistant Professors. Relevant industry experience is beneficial. Candidates with expertise in operations sustainability, ethical or responsible operations, and other supporting topics that align with our College vision of business as a force for good, are especially encouraged to apply. We also welcome applications from candidates with expertise in prescriptive analytics.
