JOB SUMMARY:
 Provides data analyses with a university-wide scope to support the Graduate School and the goals of Clemson University to become a Top 20 research institution. Directs and manages the Graduate Assistantship and Fellowship tracking system along with the related processes and data. Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:
 40% - Essential - Assistantship and Fellowship Tracking System Management: Provide functional leadership and serve as primary point of contact for technical team, graduate programs / department, and the Graduate School for the Assistantship and Fellowship system. Serve as a subject matter expert on system functionality, issues, best practices, and updates. Perform regular data validation and confirm accuracy of data and reporting. Coordinate with relevant groups across campus to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of student bills and tuition & fee charges relative to assistantships and fellowships. Administer system access and procedures for system rollovers for every term. Create, maintain, and ensure adherence to policies and best practices. Analyze, solve, and assist user functional and technical issues. Perform department audits to ensure proper procedure and documentation of student records.

25% - Essential - Analysis / Reporting: Prepare analyses on graduate school data and establish schedule of reporting to meet the needs of the Graduate School and others as input to Graduate school processes, other department processes, as well as official reporting. Provide data trends and projections for use by leadership. Provide data and analyses to internal programs / departments / colleges as needed. Aid Graduate School staff in developing appropriate data and statistics relevant to the performance on their duties as well as Graduate School strategic goals.

20% - Essential - Data and Information Management: Develop data systems and procedures for the construction of database tables, data sets, and administrative screens for use by the Graduate School and other internal partners. Maintain knowledge and documentation of assistantship and fellowship requirements, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Provide status and updates in a clear and concise manner. Provide assistance to graduate program coordinators and others in use of graduate school data.

15% - Essential - Collaboration / Training: Build and maintain positive relationships with functional / technical teams and system users. Collaborate internally through departmental / team meetings. Provide training functional opportunities and training materials for those interacting with the Assistantship and Fellowship system.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
 Education - Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related area and experience incomputer system development and modification. Relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.Work Exp 0+ years

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
 Education - Master's DegreeWork Exp 1+ years working with student information systems at the postsecondary level, experience working with Banner® Student, or experience in computer system development and modification.

WORK SCHEDULE: Standard Hrs: 37.5; Expected Salary Range ($ 63,700.00 - $ 80,300.00)
