Felician University, the Franciscan University of New Jersey is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced education professional to join our dynamic school of Education team as the Director of Internships and Assessment! The Director of Internship & Assessment is the manager of all field experiences/internship placements and related certification requirements for all undergraduate and graduate programs across the various programs of the School of Education. The Director will also be charged in being the lead on the management and collection of data for the SoE assessment system in relation to accreditation and all federal/state reporting. S/he fosters the mission and vision of the School of Education and Felician University and manages the workflow of the Office of Internship & Assessment through fulfilling the job responsibilities below, reflecting our Felician/Franciscan core values in all interactions and relationships.

Required Education:

Master’s degree required, doctoral degree preferred.

Qualifications:

NJ issued license in good standing; proven experience working in a P12 school setting; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Qualtrics; demonstrated interpersonal skills; sensitivity to and ability to engage with and direct a culturally and religiously diverse student population; strong organizational skills; well-developed verbal, written communications skills; strong presentation skills; demonstrated ability to work autonomously with multiple priorities and deadlines; demonstrated familiarity with social networking venues; willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and core values of the University; successful completion of a teacher education program and/or experience working in a K12 school setting preferred; prior experience with accreditation and data collection/reporting to professional associations; ability and willingness to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and core values of the University.
