Dominican University New York (formerly Dominican College) is currently seeking a dynamic, goal-oriented Transfer Counselor primarily for transfer and online programs to join its admissions staff. Reporting to the Sr. Assistant Director of Admissions, the Transfer Counselor will participate in all aspects of admissions operations for online and transfer admissions, including but not limited to the evaluation of applicant credentials for admission, evaluation of transfer credit, traveling to college transfer fairs and businesses for recruitment, and attendance at events on and off campus.

Qualifications Master’s degree required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; well-developed organizational and time management skills; computer expertise in Microsoft applications, ability to travel regularly, with occasional evening, weekend, and overnight assignments as needed; high degree of personal motivation, self-management and detail orientation. Previous admissions experience, knowledge of Slate and Jenzabar, as well as fluency in Spanish a plus.
