The Associate Director of Advancement for the Institute for Integrative Conservation (IIC) is a new position and a key member of the Office of University Advancement and the IIC at William & Mary. This is a dual report position, reporting to the Executive Director of Regional Advancement and to the Executive Director of the IIC. The Associate Director collaborates extensively with university leadership, faculty across campus, and advancement colleagues, as appropriate, and supports the leadership, staff and faculty at W&M’s IIC.

The Associate Director is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of donors and building philanthropic strategies for the benefit of the IIC with Advancement and IIC leadership. The Associate Director will serve as an integral member of the Institute for Integrative Conservation’s team and is expected to be an active participant in the IIC’s community, including attending events and engaging with faculty and students.

The successful Associate Director of Advancement for the Institute for Integrative Conservation will be a proactive and collaborative member of these dynamic teams and a champion for diversity and equity as William & Mary builds on its success and continues planning for its next campaign. This position is based in Williamsburg and is expected to work in the office on campus, eligible to work remotely up to two days per week.
