Position Highlights

This person will conduct and support laboratory research by setting up and conducting experiments in the lab. Develop and adapt procedures and techniques to fit specific experiment requirements. Analyze and record data. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, instruments, and apparatuses.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and adapt procedures and techniques to fit specific experiment requirements.
  • Analyze and record data.
  • Assistance with experiments of other research staff may be periodically required.
  • Perform assigned lab duties to assist in the maintenance of stock reagents or the general operation of the lab.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, instruments, and apparatuses.
  • Prepare supporting documents for grant proposals and publications.
  • Read the literature; participate in scientific discussions with other members of the lab; and attend mandatory lab meetings.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as it relates to this position.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience.
  • 1 year of relevant work experience.
