Full-Time: salary commensurate with relevant experience.
Responsible for managing all aspects of the Women's Track and Cross Country Program including but not limited to; coaching all practices and competitions, recruitment of prospective student-athletes on and off campus, preparing and operating within budget, supervision of strength and conditioning program, scheduling competitions, arrangements or home and away contests, and general administrative tasks such as expense reports, recruiting data base, NCAA paperwork, logs and forms,. Must be committed to the academic and athletic development of all student-athletes. Adherence to all University, ACC, NCAA policies and procedures.
This position will handle all aspects of the women's track and cross country team. They will work with various areas in the university such as the business office, compliance office, financial aid office, strength and conditioning, facilities, sports medicine, admissions office, Learning Resources and the equipment room. They will oversee practice and game schedules, competitions. They will handle recruiting duties on and off campus. Oversee and coach group of 45 track student-athletes.Requirements
A bachelor's Degree required, Master's
Preferred. Three to five years experience required, preferably at the D1 collegiate level. Good organizational and communication skills. Expertise in the technical aspect of
sport. Ability to work effectively with college student-athletes, athletic staff, University personnel and alumni. Knowledge of NCAA rules needed. Proficient computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office.
