Assistant Professor of Counselor Education - CR
This position is full time, contract renewable in the Department of Applied Psychology and Counselor Education, located on our main campus in Greeley, Colorado. Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in our CACREP accredited master's degree programs (Clinical Mental Health Counseling; Couples, Marriage, and Family Counseling/Therapy; and School Counseling programs). The successful candidate will serve in a nine-month contract. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: teaching (60%), research (including dissertation research advising) 20%, and service (20%). Individuals should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with others and possess a commitment to diversity and social justice. Individuals from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate may also supervise practicum students in our on-site training clinic or in external placements. Teaching opportunities will also be available in our master's programs located in Denver and Loveland.
Earned PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from a CACREP Accredited Program. Licensed of License-Eligible as a School Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado.
Background as a School Counselor and training as a School Counselor Educator.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary is $55,327. Benefits available include health, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance, as well as a selection of several defined contribution retirement plans. Dependents and spouses of UNC Employees who are employed at 0.5 FTE or above are eligible for undergraduate dependent tuition grants of up to 50%. These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available based on position.
