Position: 00010348 - Program Assistant

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $39,900 to $49,850; salary commensurate with relevant experience.

The Program Assistant, Interdisciplinary Programs provides administrative and fiscal support to directors, principal investigators, and professors of the Interdisciplinary Programs in the College of Arts and Sciences while adhering to Boston College and other governing agency rules and regulations.

This position is responsible for smooth operation of shared services for A&S interdisciplinary programs. Must demonstrate ability to effectively prioritize workload, exercise good judgment and discretion in dealing with faculty from many different interdisciplinary programs.  Must have good customer service skills in dealing with many other college departments and staff.  Must effectively implement University policies and procedures within a shared service environment.

Requirements

2-3 years of fiscal and administrative experience, especially in higher education.

The ability to balance multiple program priorities.

Bachelor's degree preferred.
