Job Description
The HP faculty candidate's primary responsibilities will include didactic instruction and assisting with program management. Secondary functions are assisting in the development of a research program and mentoring students. This position will also hold an administrative appointment as assistant program director.
Required Qualifications
A PhD in Health Physics or closely related field is required. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of two years of didactic teaching experience in Health Physics related courses.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have extensive working experience in the Health Physics industry. Preference will be given to candidates who are Certified Health Physicists (CHP) and Certified Laser Safety Officers (CLSO).
