Position Highlights

The Marketing Department at the Eller College of Management is seeking applicants for an Adjunct Lecturer to teach Marketing 428 for the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters. Initial duties will be limited to MKTG 428- Sales Communication course and advising the Eller Professional Sales Club, but the successful candidate may be invited to teach additional courses depending on qualifications and the needs of the department.

The Department of Marketing is one of six academic units in the Eller College of Management offering undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Teach MKTG 428: Sales Communication
  • Be available to students for course coaching,
  • Prepare class syllabus, notes
  • Develop and grade assignments; conduct/grade exams
  • Advise Eller Professional Sales Club (undergraduate student club)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Terminal
    degree in related discipline (i.e., Marketing, Sales, Business Administration,
    Psychology, etc.)
    * OR -
  • Master's degree in related discipline.
  • Must be available to teach in-person at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Marketing
  • Relevant experience working in a corporate setting
  • Previous experience teaching university-level marketing courses
  • 10 years of significant professional experience related to the course
