Job Description

The Cinema & Theatre Equipment Support Specialist is responsible for the checkout, maintenance, inventory, and servicing of cinema equipment for students and faculty in accordance with university procedures. The Equipment Support Specialist is also responsible for offering technical and audio-visual support for Theatre and Cinema classrooms and performance spaces. The position may also require coordination and supervision of student employees. Occasional evening hours.

Required Qualifications

Experience with cameras, lighting, and sound-recording equipment and technology. Excellent time management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, to prioritize and perform multiple tasks, and to work cooperatively in a team atmosphere.

Preferred Qualifications

B.A. in Cinema, Theatre or in a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
