Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Department Information
The Wellstar College of Health and Human Services houses the Department of Exercise Science and Sport Management (ESSM).

ESSM is a dynamic unit offering undergraduate sports science degrees in Exercise Science and Sport Management with pre-professional preparation options as well as a minor in Nutritional Science and graduate degrees in Exercise and Science and Prosthetics & Orthotics.

Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions in the Department of Exercise Science and Sport Management for the academic year 2022 - 2023. These positions are on an as needed basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
  • Candidates are expected to instruct various courses in an online format to support the minor in Nutritional Science.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications
  • An earned Master's or higher degree, or a foreign equivalent, in Nutrition or a related area
  • Registered Dietician with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
Preferred Qualifications
  • Record of past teaching at the undergraduate level
  • Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community
  • Experience teaching face to face, online, and/or hybrid courses
