Trinity College is seeking an Associate Director, Enterprise Applications & Integrations to join a forward-thinking and merged IT, library, and data division. The Associate Director will manage a team focused on a significant portion of Trinity’s efforts to modernize the enterprise. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications & Integrations, the Associate Director of Enterprise Applications is responsible for the delivery and operations of the enterprise application environment and ecosystem that supports and enables the university’s strategic goals and technology priorities. They work closely with the Director of Enterprise Applications to prioritize projects and lead a team of programmer analysts that enable the effective use of enterprise software, including enterprise-wide and discipline-specific applications, websites and portal(s), mobile applications, document imaging and workflow, and integrations.

The Associate Director cultivates a customer-focused and responsive team that encourages individual initiative, collaboration and innovation. They work collaboratively with college partners to understand their needs and deliver an enterprise application ecosystem that is user-centered, seamless, and connected. They collaborate effectively with other information technology personnel to provide support for a portfolio of enterprise-wide systems used by college offices and the constituencies these offices support.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 + years of experience with enterprise system applications and a variety integration, data warehousing, business intelligence, report writing and analysis tools
  • Experience implementing/maintaining software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications
  • Strong Interpersonal skills, ability to build partnerships with campus constituents
  • Ability to nurture a Team-building environment
  • Experience in project management
  • Strong analytical skills; able to assess business issues and work with constituents to apply appropriate technology solutions to meet their business needs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in determining priorities and exercising good judgment
  • Promote standards of systems development methodologies, personnel practices, information security and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree
  • Basic database constructs knowledge
  • Experience with integration platform-as-a-service (iPaaS)
  • Experience managing teams
