The Graduate Business Programs Business Development Manager is responsible for working with the MBA director to implement comprehensive, action-oriented enrollment strategies to position the Graduate Business Programs as the program of choice in the region. The Business Development Manager engages all aspects of recruitment, selection, and enrollment to achieve and exceed annual quality and quantity targets. The manager develops and maintain a positive community relationship with professional and community service organizations, business, industry, and other related entities in the service area and represent Graduate Business Programs at companies, professional organizations, community events. The ideal candidate will exhibit high internal drive and motivation, strong strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills, creative capabilities, and superior sales and marketing skills and instincts.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree plus three years of relevant experience required; Master’s degree preferred
- 3-5 Experience in admissions and recruitment in higher education and general knowledge of higher education markets preferred
- Strong, proven analytical skills that are used to collect, analyze, interpret, and present data for decision-making purposes
- Extensive working knowledge of and/or connectivity with businesses, organizations, and community groups
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written) required
- Professional comportment
- Ability to demonstrate collaborative skills
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record required
- Ability to Travel
- Strong interpersonal skills required

- Willingness to work flexible hours in late afternoon and early evening and weekends as necessary to satisfy needs of graduate students and program.
- Computer proficiency required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete assignments in a times fashion
