Term End Date, If Applicable:
FLSA Status: Exempt = not eligible for overtime
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, traditionally 9:00 am-5:00 pm during the academic year and 10:00 am-4:00 pm on semester breaks and during the summer; .90 full-time equivalent (FTE)
Salary: Targeted prorated salary range: $82,000-$90,000
Travel: Less than 10%
Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties: Plan, direct, organize and staff the pharmacy unit of the Health Center ensuring quality pharmaceutical services to the university community.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Discipline / Degree Area: Pharmacy
Required SpecializedTraining/Certifications: Current registered pharmacist in the State of Michigan and current state and federal DEA licensure.
Required Minimum Work Experience: Two years' work experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performanceof the Position Duties: Ability to follow state and federal pharmacy laws in a retail setting and in a university setting in order to serve faculty, staff, students, retirees and their eligible dependents.
Ability to perform formulary reviews to assure best economic purchases.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to accurately and efficiently operate departmental equipment to include any combination of word processing, spreadsheets, database, e-mail or web-based applications.

Service orientation skills-actively looking for ways to help people.
Ability to analyze statistical data in order to make pricing recommendations.

Additional Desirable Qualifications
Additional Desirable Qualifications: Experience in university pharmacy setting (students, faculty/staff).
Experience with immunization administration.
Experience with QS/1-Redsail pharmacy software.
