Position Highlights

The Outreach Program Curriculum Coordinator supports the effective implementation of the Center for Recruitment & Retention of Mathematics Teachers (CRR)'s Re-Engaging Aspirational Learners (Getting REAL) program. The coordinator will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the program through material revision, resequencing, and development. The coordinator will develop materials and resources to ensure effective training for all program facilitators and coordinators. This position will also support program communication and implementation.

Duties & Responsibilities

This position will continue the development of the Re-Engaging Aspirational Learners program curriculum and revise, resequence, and review current curricular materials. The position will develop curricular resources necessary for the successful training and implementation of facilitators. The position will coordinate the program's implementation statewide, and support sites with successful implementation of the program.The ideal candidate should have strong writing and communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 years of relevant work experience is required
  • Experience with the Arizona academic standards for mathematics K-8
  • Arizona teaching certificate
  • Ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years experience teaching AZ standards-based mathematics
  • One years of experience with curricular resource development
  • IVP level fingerprint clearance card
  • Masters degree in education or related field.
