Job Summary
Responsible for programming, advising, and increasing engagement opportunities while reducing risk/liability for the Fraternity and Sorority community. Collaborates with key stakeholders and advocates for appropriate department resources to better serve the community. Works with chapter advisors, Area/Regional Advisors, Alumni Organizations, and Inter-National Organizations, including Leadership Consultants, to ensure chapters and members are aligned with national standards and practices.

Responsibilities
1 - Creates comprehensive educational and social programming plans for the Fraternity and Sorority community

2 - Directs educational efforts with a focus on risk management and values-based leadership

3 - Implements risk reduction strategies and responds to emergencies, conflicts and or crisis situations

4 - Initiates, plans, implements, and assesses programs and practices for Fraternity and Sorority life

5 - Develops assessments and learning outcomes

6 - Supervises team of professionals and student workers

7 - Works closely with Student Activities, Student Center Operations, and Dean of Students staff

8 - Coordinate use of the Owl Life student engagement software to create and publicize student programs and events, track student participation, and ensure compliance with divisional and university guidelines

9 - Provide support for other divisional priorities and initiatives beyond the scope of department, as requested

10 - Manages department budget and implement policies, procedures and guidelines

11 - Maintains, develops, and communicates Fraternity and Sorority life services and programs to relevant stakeholders

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Social Work, Counseling or related field

Required Experience
Five (5) years of experience related to position
Previous management and supervisory skills required

Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree, earned or in progress, in related field
Project management experience

Proposed Salary
The budget for this position is $62,816.98. Offers will be based on candidate experience and budget availability.

Pay Grade: E8

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
