Position Description:
Serves as case manager for all cases handled within the Office of Compliance and Equity Management (OCEM); triages incoming reports of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct; meets with reporting parties and provides information on resources, resolution options, and potential supportive measures; investigates cases as needed; facilitates hearings and pre-hearing processes; serves as system administrator for case management software used by multiple offices; participates in prevention work, including the facilitation and administration of training programs and awareness activities; provides equal opportunity oversight of university employment searches; maintains data and prepares annual Affirmative Action Plan and related reports; and coordinates operational and budgetary functions.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required.
Required Qualifications:
At least one year of experience working in related functional areas such as case management, equal opportunity, and/or investigations required. Attention to detail, self-directed initiative, and strong communication skills also required. Student experience will be considered.
Desirable Qualifications:
Triage, investigation, and/or case management experience related to reports of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct preferred. Investigator certification and affirmative action experience also preferred.
