Woods College of Advancing Studies at Boston College is seeking experienced instructors to teach part time in various graduate courses. Courses are taught either fully online or with some of all instruction on ground. Responsibilities include preparation of course materials and examinations, evaluation of student learning, and making course modification to enhance the learning experience. Online courses are taught primarily asynchronously. On-ground courses are offered in the evening during the week.

We are seeking instructors for graduate course in the following subject areas:

  • Leadership and Administration
  • Corporate Communications & Marketing
  • Executive Leadership/Organizational Development
  • Human Resources
  • Project Management


Serious consideration is given to applicants with the following criteria:

  • Doctoral degree in a related field (Master's degree in related field may be acceptable with 10+ years of work experience)
  • Have current or recent work knowledge and experience related to subject area
  • Experience teaching graduate level courses (online and/or on-ground)
  • Have an active industry network
  • Ability to communicate and interact with students in on-ground or online format
