Position Details:

Enterprise Application Systems Administrator

Indiana State University is seeking an exceptional professional to join our Institutional Computing Services Team as an Enterprise Application Systems Administrator, reporting to our Senior Database Administrator.

Indiana State has an established suite of Ellucian Products, including Banner (All Modules), Banner Workflow, DegreeWorks, and Ethos. In addition, there are several integrations to our Ellucian environment, including Clean Address, Automic, and our Learning Management integration - ILP (Intelligent Learning Platform)

The successful candidate will fill the Banner Technical role, working with the Banner Group Manager and Banner Development Group to provide: Product Upgrades and Deployments, Technical Support, and Continuous Improvement using established ITIL and ITSM Standards.

Primary duties will include: Manage ERP software lifecycle events including installation, security, cloning, upgrades, and patching.

Responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting ERP databases, data structures, data flows, data queries, and integrated applications with regards to data flow and security.

Maintenance of a Test, QA, Reporting, and Live Production Environment.

Assess, support, troubleshoot, and effectively communicate about systems/applications that are part of their assigned portfolio.

The person will be trained and will be responsible for reading documentation to keep current with the changes and developments in the ERP applications. Must understand security and data integrity controls and protocols.

The Enterprise Application Systems Administrator will work as an integral member of the IT DBA team, contributing to integration services and supporting database infrastructure.

Plays a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and implementing the correct application solutions for the university, by providing guidance on selection of new applications, design, development, performance, and optimization.

Required Relevant Education & Experience: Education- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or related field Experience - 1-2 years
