Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions of English and Supervising Master Teachers in the Department of English for the 2022-2023 academic year. These positions are on an as needed basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.
Clinical supervision of student teachers of English Education during placements in area schools.
- At least three years of teaching experience in ELA contexts grades 6-12.
- Current employment as an English teacher at North Cobb High School or Kennesaw Mountain High School
- A master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in the field of English/English Education
Ideal candidates will have:
- academic coursework in English Education
- experience mentoring teacher candidates
