Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Department Information
Michael J. Coles College of Business is fully accredited by AACSB-International. The Department of Information Systems and Security consists of 28 full-time faculty members and offers undergraduate degrees in Information Systems and Information Security and Assurance, a graduate degree in Information Systems (MSIS) as well as Healthcare Management and Informatics (MSHMI) and a dual degree MBA-MSIS. Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, Limited Term Assistant Professor or Limited Term Instructor of Information Systems and Security faculty position in the Department of Information Systems and Security, beginning August 2022. Rank will be determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include teaching courses in principles of information security, information systems management, software assurance, application development or other courses related to information systems and/or information security and assurance. Some service to the department, college, and/or university is expected.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in information system, information security, or a closely related field is required for an Instructor Position
  • Terminal/Doctorate degree, or its foreign equivalent, in information system, information security, or a closely related field is required for an Assistant Professor Position
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry experience
  • Licenses, certifications, or professional memberships
  • Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
  • Record of past teaching experience
  • ABD or PhD
