About the role:
Reporting to the Manager of Production Studio Operations, the Associate Producer is responsible for live and in-Studio broadcast events. The Associate Producer is the primary point of contact representing WGU Studios to our internal clients. Works closely with internal clients to educate them on our workflows and how to prepare for their upcoming broadcast events. Works closely with senior and executive level leadership to schedule, plan, and deliver pre-production materials to the Studio. Participates in broadcasts as a traditional studio producer and will relay (via comms system) information to clients, on-screen talent, and the production director.
What you'll do...
Inform clients about the complex and necessary workflows and procedures for delivery of video productions and live event broadcasting
Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal clients and departments, as well as developing new business with other groups
Address customer issues with speed and efficiency
Develop partnerships for delivery of media production services to increase WGU's reach and educational impact
Assist in planning and execution of broadcasts, events, and video productions, including partnerships, and client deliverables
Contribute to team success including planning, organizing, developing work processes, identifying and implementing improvements, and leading team/department projects

What you'll need...
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree in Film, Digital Media, Project Management, Marketing or related field - Or equivalent experience
One (1) or more years' experience in film or live broadcast production, project management, customer service, or strategic account management
Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite, film production and scheduling software, and CRM tools
Nice to have...
Bachelors degree in Film, Digital Media, Project Management, Marketing or related field - Or three (3) years' experience working in live event or film production
Experience producing concerts, news broadcasts, or large corporate broadcast events
Experience in live production, news broadcasts or other live events
Experience in any position on a large film set/production
Corporate project management experience
