Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Performs administrative duties in support of the day-to-day operations of degree auditing in relation to program and department curriculum requirements. Analyzes and interprets information regarding Board of Regents (BOR) and institutional degree policies and procedures.
1. Responsible for completing all phases of degree auditing, including changes and exceptions
2. Collaborates with the campus community to ensure compliance with KSU and USG curriculum policies
3. Assists with ensuring compliance with KSU graduation policies
4. Manages student workflow process for degree audits
5. Provides assistance to the campus community in interpretation and research regarding degree audits
6. Participates in Commencement ceremonies each semester
7. Assists with testing updates in Degree Works, Banner, and additional technology systems
8. Assists with curriculum updates inDegree Works
9. Assists with course substitutions as needed
10. Assists with responding to student emails related to degree audits and graduation
11. Assists with maintaining study abroad applications and processes
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
One (1) year relevant experience
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with University System of Georgia (USG) policies
Two (2) years of related registrar, advisor, higher education degree auditing or counseling experience
Experience in higher education degree auditing preferred Experience in University student information systems
Pay Grade: Exempt 03

In depth knowledge of degree program structures and USG general education (core) curriculum
Proven success working with academic departments and curriculum issues
Experience and proficiency in degree auditing
High aptitude to comprehend and grasp information quickly
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite, Degree Works, NOLIJ, and On-Base)
Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
