This position will report to the Associate Dean - Phoenix campus and will provide administrative, curricular, research, and operations support for faculty and staff for the College on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus (PBD) and between College of Pharmacy campuses and amongst Phoenix Units on the PBC.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead operational support for the College on the PBC including maintaining operational procedures and identifying/creating new ones; maintain campus, administrator, and faculty calendars; onboarding new employees; maintain office, software and classroom supplies; arrange meetings, appointments, conferences and coordinate all logistics; operate and troubleshoot office equipment; receive, screen and route telephone calls; plan, coordinate, and schedule special events for the Dean's office.
  • Provide curricular support such as preparing class materials, proctoring exams, supporting PBC faculty, support of visiting faculty and visitors, manage disability resource center support; provide course preparation support; coordinate efforts between the College's information technology (IT) groups from Tucson and the PBC, and provide basic support.
  • Manage support needs of committees such as formulating agendas, recording minutes, following up on action items, scheduling meetings and preparing materials, as needed. Committees include those for campus coordination and equity, diversity and inclusion.
  • Assist the Office of Student Services with new student orientation, end of the year student celebrations, interview days, open houses, and other special events; student organization meetings, student room scheduling, student printing, and other administrative needs.
  • Represent the College's Phoenix campus administrative office in administrative matters and on committees with the College's Tucson office and/or Phoenix units, and outside groups, as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
  • One year of relevant work experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

*Knowledge of UArizona policies and procedures. *Microsoft Office Suite including MS Visio; Qualtrics.
*Bachelor's degree or vocational training.
