THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION SPECIALTIES AT LOYOLA UNIVERSITY MARYLAND invites applications for a senior level appointment as an Associate Professor of Educational Leadership to begin in August 2022. The responsibilities of the position include teaching graduate courses on educational leadership; sustaining a program of impactful scholarship; and providing service to the program, department, school, and university, including student advising and program development and evaluation. The successful candidate shall have a record of scholarship that merits granting tenure and appointment at the rank of Associate Professor.
Required Qualifications: (1) an earned doctorate (Ed.D. or Ph.D.) in educational leadership or a related field (2) evidence of teaching effectiveness using in-person, hybrid, and online methods of instruction and commitment to high-impact teaching practices; (3) an established program of scholarship in educational leadership or related fields; and (4) ability to contribute to the mission of Jesuit higher education at Loyola and the School of Education.
Preferred Qualifications: (1) Experience in innovating, developing, and evaluating graduate programs in educational leadership or related fields; (2) interest and experience in securing external funding for research or programs; (3) experience as an educational administrator; and (4) ability to teach in areas pertinent to both K-12 and Higher Education.
