Employer Partnerships Coordinator

Department: Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC)

Position Summary:

The Employer Partnerships Coordinator will be the primary liaison to employers and organizations interested in partnerships, with a focus on maximizing both experiential learning and employment opportunities for Nichols College students and graduates. CPDC is part of the newly formed Innovation and External Affairs Division, which also includes the Center for Intelligent Process Automation (CIPA), Nichols Consulting Group (NCG), and the Institute for Women’s Leadership (IWL).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, update, and implement a strategic employer development plan incorporating organization of all sizes.
  • Seek out and actively participate in networking organizations and events to meet employers and connect them with the appropriate campus partners.
  • Increase the number of quality internship and employment opportunities for students and recent graduates, incorporating suggestions and feedback from faculty.
  • Manage the campus and web-based interviewing program, including scheduling and hosting employers.
  • Assist with the development and execution of a variety of employer and alumni related networking events.
  • Provide career coaching to students and alumni on a variety of topics such as branding materials, LinkedIn, and job search strategies. 
  • Teach a weekly one-credit undergraduate Professional Development Seminar course each semester. Canvas course content is provided.
  • Assist with the completion of the annual graduate survey and other department projects.
  • Other duties as assigned. 


  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Preference for candidates with sales and/or networking experience.
  • Flexibility to work closely with multiple constituents including employers, students, and faculty.
