Music Equip Support Specialist
The Music Equipment Support Specialist provides support for fixed asset management, including acoustic music instrument and equipment checkout, maintenance, and inventory as necessary for periodic internal and external fixed assets audits and equipment surplus in accordance with university procedures. The Equipment Support Specialist is also responsible for student locker support/maintenance and for managing music classroom spaces. This position coordinates and supervises student employees and works with faculty to meet A/V needs and to provide technical and classroom support for live events as needed.
Experience with acoustical music instruments, audio/video equipment, and technology. The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, being able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks. The candidate must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in a team atmosphere.
B.A. in Music or equivalent background in music.
