Required Relevant Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong work tenure: two or more years' experience
- Experience and interest in internal and external communications, partnership development, and fundraising
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of University Advancement and CEO of the ISU Foundation, the Assistant to the Vice President for Constituent Services and Board Liaison provides exceptional customer service and project coordination for the Indiana State University Foundation Board of Directors and six standing committees and the Be So Bold Campaign Cabinet. The Assistant to the Vice President for Constituent Services and Board Liaison serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Division of University Advancement. The Assistant to the Vice President for Constituent Services and Board Liaison is the liaison to the ISU Foundation board of directors and the advancement leadership team; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts. The Assistant to the Vice President for Constituent Services and Board Liaison works collaboratively with the University Advancement team to assist with donor events. The Assistant to the Vice President for Constituent Services and Board Liaison must be creative and enjoy working within a fast-paced environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Assistant to the Vice President for Constituent Services and Board Liaison will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
